The landscape in the grocery sector has changed drastically over the last 5-10 years, with the success of discounters Aldi and Lidl at one end of the price spectrum, and Waitrose and M&S Food at the other.

Recent US entrant Whole Foods, now backed by retail titan Amazon, has entered the fray - in what could be the start of a new war in which the weapon of choice will be customer experience.
